SPAIN, Madrid, cob 8 reales, Phillip III, 1621 V, very rare, PCGS XF45, finest and only example in PCGS census. Cal-869; KM-28.5. 27.54 grams. Beautifully old toned, a broad squarish flan with very bold full denomination VIII to right of full shield below well-detailed crown, assayer V (for Juan Velázquez) above king's ordinal III to left, but the best part is the complete four-digit date above the full cross, a very rare occurrence indeed! The only other certified example on record is NGC XF details.
